Help Feed the World one Click at a Time

I heard this story on NPR this morning. A guy wanted to help his older son develop a better vocabulary for upcoming SAT tests. So he created a website that teaches you new words and for each correct answer 20 grains of rice are donated to the UN. In November over 4 Billion grains were donated. It costs you nothing as the site is supported by ads. Go to freerice.com and check it out. A great way to learn new words and help feed the world's starving population.

This is great, Bill! Thanks for sharing this! I was amazed at how many words I did know and also the ones I guessed correctly! And to think you are helping to feed the world at the same time you're having fun and learning! Awesome! Fried Rice found some free rice!

Very cool Billy! The danger though is that you keep on going for ever and at work, it can be dangerous... LOL but it's for a good cause...
