Frank Constanzer is hosting another weekend of adventure at the Capehouse on October 3 - 5! Come on out and have some more fun in the sun before the season's over. Bring your camping gear and we'll have a tent party on the front lawn overlooking the creek. Bring something delicious to throw together for a communal dinner Saturday night and a communal breakfast Sunday morning and, of course, your favorite beverage. Hope to see you there!

I'm not bringing my kayak I'm attaching an inner tube to the back of Vickie's kayak this time! Do you know how I can waterproof my socks Kathy? You do know the old saying..."Behind every good woman is her man in an innertube drinking beer" I think Palin said it in her Republican address not real sure though? Vickie! No need to stop for pee breaks I'll be o.k! just follow Frank and keep the beverages cold!!! ;)

Hey Kathy, I know, I talked to Susan last night and she told me about it. I wish I could see them before they leave but it doesn't look feasible.
Wayne is coming THIS weekend. Susan's Mom has really been through the wringer. I think she is doing well for someone her age having gone through so many close surgeries.
Carolyn, when I said Wayne is coming up "that weekend", I was referring to this coming weekend when I will be with Vickie in VA Beach. I have talked with Susan, and she thinks they will be too busy with her Mom to get together with us, but she said she could really use a fun paddle. Her Mom is still needing the family to be there with them every day. I hope she is going to be alright. How was your trip? Hope to see some pics on the blog soon!
Susan's mom is now in the rehab center. I'm sure she's got ways to go before she can go home but from what Susan said she's doing better :).
