Bill had triple bypass surgery yesterday morning -- all went very well! Chris took him to the Henrico Doctor's Hospital (Forrest) emergency room on Saturday morning since Bill had had chest pains in the night and again in the morning. He will be in the hospital until next week -- he was in the cardiac unit but may have been moved to a regular room today. He will recover at Ima's.

Jay went to see Bill last night. Said he was in a lot of pain, but was doing well.
(Bill is staying in Ima's Richmond home. She passed away last year, I think. Jay was saying that Bill is doing so well because he got to the hospital at a good time. Might not have happened, if he had been staying at his home in the country in Steven's Church.)
