Asian Beetle Infestation!

Hey, this is kind of random, but our house is being overrun by those little ladybug-looking Asian beetles that our neighbor says they introduced to take care of the aphids and pine beetles. Nothing eats them, and so they are everywhere, and they're so small, they get into our drafty old house too easily. Does anyone know anything about how to get rid of them? (I wish Pete were here). HELP! I feel like I'm stuck in a really crappy B-grade horror film!

I am so sorry I released that one I found and thought it was a ladybug... Dumb me... I have no idea what can get rid of them but I'll ask around :)

I did some surfing and it seems the best weapon is your vacuume.
And also sealing the house...in your case not an option?

here's a good site:

And another that says prevention again is the best tactic but does offer some chemical solutions:

Good luck...I've read accounts where literally the whole attic and inside the walls have become packed with the less than lady like insects

Thanks Bill. FYI, I killed a wasp with some wasp/hornet spray, and that spray actually stopped all the asian beetles in the vicinity in their tracks immediately. Yay!
