Ladybird bugs

Hey, here's an idea! I saw this at the Maymont Garden Show a few weeks ago.

That reminds me of the time Russ Clem had a roach infestation at his shop on Lombardy in the Fan..The Emporium.
He bought gheko lizards which did do a pretty good job on the roaches. Of course every now and then you'd be sitting on the couch and a little green friend would come sit on your shoulder. Soon he had an infestation of ghekos. A couple of cats ultimately cured that.
Sometimes the cure is about the same as the problem...

Back in 1976 neighbors on Park Ave., including Kathy Gearheart, bought ghekos from The Emporium! I preferred deadly chemicals over lizards back then. They creeped me out not knowing where they were. You would be over a neighbor's apt. and a green thing would streak by. I hated it. Kathy bought quite a few because her cat kept killing them.

Jim & I saw the heron rookery Sunday morning. Too cool. I want to visit every weekend! My boss has a condo at Vistas on the James. His wife emailed me that they look down on the nests. Should be exciting when the eggs hatch!
