Jay's headed for surgery this morning. He was pretty optimistic when I visited with him Thursday evening but figures he'll be slowed down for a while. Nurse Mary Beth is on duty so he should be well taken care of.
We'll be thinking about you, Jay, and saying prayers for you that the surgery will go well and for a speedy recovery. And having Mary Beth for a nurse will put a big smile on Jay's face, for sure!
I hope the surgery went well. Billy, do you have an update? I'm sure he will be very well taken care of! After getting a brand new knee Jay, no more excuses for letting us down... :) ~ Vickie ~
Enjoy the down time Jay!!! Keep the mind full of happy thoughts. Enjoy the DR Pepper cocktails and looking forward to seeing you soon and hearing the veterans rose bud wisdom and advice again. Mary Beth you are rare gem for that man. Don't let him play patient and nurse sympathy to much. Remind him he's in rehab not deprived. If he gets to overboard hide the remote and short sheet his bed.
