HABITAT FOR JAY A HUGE SUCCESS!

What a great experience this was for a bunch of us to get together, help out our dear friend Jay, learn a new craft, and have so much fun, all at the same time!! It felt like one of those old time barn raisings! And the delicious food that Mary Beth created was a delight for the palate! I thought I took more pictures than this, so Vickie, please help me out here and add more pics to share with the group. A huge thank you to every one who came out and shared in this great day! By the way, whose butt is that up on the roof?? LOL!

What a fun time, and we learned a new skill! Nathan had some great tips/techniques that were really cool and worked. (He learned well from you, Hudson.)
I will post some good pictures soon. I loved that Kathy, Vickie, and I were putting up our own area. We can rule, Girls!
Jay was amazing (and scary) working, walking, and cutting too much. His face looked like he was hurting, but his spirit was his wonderful, positive self denied it. After working, pills & martinis made him relaxed.
Mary Beth's food was amazing. When I first walked in the house, I thought it smelled like White Grass Cafe. We ended with a campfire (and Bubba finally quieted down with a good plate of food, including salmon skin.)
Vickie, Keith, Nathan, Jim, & I slept over.
Great weekend, FOJ!

Sorry, Keith, this one's no contest. That is way too easy! The next contest will be way more difficult. Patience, patience!

Oh, yeah , it was a great experience for me too. I was bragging to my family that I was putting up siding on a house! I am now officially a sider. You can call me the finisher, right behind, Keith and David, learned from the best, I must say. Ah, the food, finally got to taste some of Mary Beth fine dining. Carolyn, I did not know you guys were staying overnight, I would have been happy to have any one over who needed to stay the night. Oh, well, the offer is open next time.
What’s up with first Friday?
