Habitat For Jay Weekend!

I got the word from the arterial source... (Mary Beth) The last weekend of March would be the best weekend on their end for any Habitat For Jay workers to chip in on some siding fun , drinks, good food, and sleep over! Jay&MB need to know who will be staying over/eating and some idea of food prep! Sounds like Jay will be involved so don't plan on goofing off! He is trained in the Art of of being an arm chair Bandit! I think Mary Beth will be there so I think??? food might...? taste good??? That is the tail end of my Spring break so I plan to be there with the truck and and a miriad of tools- including the miter saw for the vinyl! Let us know if anyone is game??? I think MB will be checking the blog to keep up with people numbers? I don't know exactly what her directives were from Jay!? :) Who can hear he keeps ringing the servant bell!---We love you JayBird!!!!!!

Billy, let us know what to bring individually that might help?--You have been there several times! We need your advice!???

Nathan...I'll take some photos this weekend and post them so you construction types can formulate a plan. Still needs to have the Tyvek wrap completed and the second story dormers have not been touched so the aluminum needs to be pulled off of those etc. Also, he was doing some sill repair at the kitchen and I think he still needs to do something on that. Maybe Ed or you could go by there before hand and scope that out. The other guy left some of his equipment so you should factor that into the mix.

What's the ladder situation? Jim & I have an extension ladder we could bring.

I have some tools in the garage but I don't know what they are... LOL Since the teacher is directing the operations under close monitoring of Master Jay, I guess the unskilled labor can still be of some help. Keep us posted on time and such.

Jeni's parents are coming in from WI that weekend, so we're sorry we can't be there. But this kind of stuff is Jeni's job, and used to be mine, so we have lots of tools, ladders, etc. if needed.

Nate, you're coming out to Walton's Mtn. the weekend before, and you didn't know it yet, but you're going to help us with our siding, and then you'll be a pro! Aren't you so excited?!?! ;) You can probably borrow whatever extra tools are needed from us to take to Jaybird's then if y'all need them.

We will miss y'all...and MB's food stuffs!
